Kaoru Sakurayashiki, dubbed "Cherry Blossom" at "S," is a logical, methodical skater and a founder member of the group. His skateboard is fitted with cutting-edge artificial intelligence, whom he refers to as Carla, and his attention to detail enables him to immediately detect Langa's snowboarding background. Cherry is a committed and competitive skater who has a grudge towards Adam, another founding member of "S." Cherry, despite his gruff attitude, has a tender side when it comes to his friends; he has a good connection with Joe (when the two are not squabbling) and swiftly develops feelings for Reki and Langa when the two get entangled in the drama of "S." Daman Mills, the English voice actor for Cherry Blossom, has voiced a range of characters, from Moonfish and Mustard in My Hero Academia to Yakov Feltsman in Yuri!!! on Ice. Hikaru Midorikawa, his Japanese voice actor, previously voiced Softon in Bobobo-bo Bobobo, the Temple Demon in Demon Slayer, and Best Jeanist in My Hero Academia.

Miya attempts to divert Joe's attention away from the girls in Episode 6 by referring to his "Mom," who would allegedly murder him if he does not return soon. Joe is shocked and astounded by legs he believes to be those of a lady, but upon closer examination, they reveal to be Cherry Blossom's. Miya and Shadow describe in the recap Episode 9.5 that Joe picked up Cherry and flung him into the ocean at some point when they were at the beach. They say Cherry was enraged by this and afterwards used a paintbrush to deftly scribble slurs on Joe's hawaiian shirt using a paintbrush. As a form of retaliation for barging into Joe's restaurant, he orders five more dinners in Cherry's private room and allows the others to dig in despite an enraged Cherry. The two are the first to get reach the thermal waters simultaneously in the same episode after taking a shortcut there. They exchanged bitter but amusing talk shortly after they settled down, only pausing to yell in fright when both were assaulted by the "mud things."
