Clarkson's song garnered a standing ovation and paid respect to Parton's 1974 delivery of âI Will Always Love You,â as well as Whitney Houston's 1992 version. Prior to the night's conclusion, Kelly Clarkson paid tribute to Dolly with a unique version of "I Will Always Love You."
