âI believe that the 2016 season has the potential to be another spectacular one, provided that everyone stays healthy. Regrettably, we haven't seen that scenario play out in many years. As a club owner, I believe RCH is in an excellent position, but we must execute. As a broadcaster, I believe the sport is in an excellent position to continue developing. We have a strong field with a large number of really competent riders. If everyone stays healthy, it will be an incredible season. âWith all of the focus on the depth of the field and the caliber of the players, Roczen quietly conducts himself in a workmanlike manner. Despite the pressure cooker atmosphere that traditionally surrounds the season opening, the German-born rider enters Anaheim composed and confident, having won back-to-back races in the season opener.
âIt was enjoyable,â Roczen said after his second consecutive runner-up result and 13th consecutive top six finish. âIt was an incredible ride the whole way. I'm a little disappointed I screwed up on that dragon's back, but we've been riding extremely well and powerful, and that's what matters. I kept him (Dungey) on his toes the whole time and was able to pull off the pass. Unfortunately, I made a mistake immediately after making the pass, which lost me the victory. In general, our Suzuki RM-Z450 has performed well. We've made a few adjustments, and it's just getting better. My start wasn't ideal, but I made some movements and overall, I'm very pleased with how I rode. Obviously, I'm disappointed to come second, but such is life. â Weimer was bullish coming into Saturday's 450SX Main Event, and he was justified in his optimism. In Santa Clara, the Rupert, Idaho native earned his sixth top-10 finish of the season and was in prime position to capitalize on his success from a week earlier. Unfortunately, events beyond his control this week resulted in a disheartening outcome for the 2010 Western Regional 250SX Class Champion.

âThey all have to go your way,â Ryan Dungey remarked from the podium at Foxboro, Massachusetts' Gillette Stadium. âKen and Eli were having a great time tonight. They were sulking, and I had nothing to offer them. âWe knew there was a chance for the title tonight, but we lost a little bit, which is OK. Weâll bounce back and go back to work.â
