The management company for the Dead or Alive singer acknowledged his tragic demise online, after it was revealed that he had had a major heart attack.

The death of our exceptional celebrity has crushed his family and friends. He was a real visionary, a lovely and gifted person, and he will be missed by those who loved and valued all he was and all of the great memories he left us with.â
