In Okinawa, a group of dedicated skaters compete in a secret, no-holds-barred race known as "S" after midnight, racing each other down a twisting route dug out of an abandoned mine and sometimes establishing rivalries, also known as "beefs." What do I adore about Reki? How very relatable he is. Nobody else could ever comprehend me as well as reki, yk? reki is a representation of my sentiments, which I often avoid discussing with people for fear of being seen as a very selfish person. I'm now rewatching Sk8 the Infinity Man for the third time. I began to weep as reki spoke to langa in the rain; a strange emotion overwhelmed me, similar to the one he was experiencing at the time.:/
