Sasi began his career in 1998 with Sollamale and has directed just eight films to date. âItâs not about the quantity of films I create; itâs about the journey,â he grins. Synopsis of the film Sivappu Manjal Pachai: A street racer and a traffic officer become in-laws. Can they accept one another in light of their prior antagonistic history? Review of the film Sivappu Manjal Pachai: Chalk and cheese are the heroes in Sasi's Sivappu Manjal Pachai. Madhan (GV Prakash Kumar) is a street racer, while Rajasekar (Siddharth) is a police officer. And they are set to become lawful brothers when an alliance is formed between Rajasekar and Madhan's sister, Rajalakshmi nicknamed Raji (Lijomol Jose). And, having grown up without their parents since their youth, Madhan and Raji are inextricably linked. To further complicate things, Rajasekar and Madhan have a history – the officer previously humiliated the racer. Can these two diametrically opposed personalities find common cause in such a scenario?
Plot
Madhan (G. V. Prakash Kumar) is an outspoken street racer who lives in the city with his adoring older sister Raji or Poonai (Lijomol Jose). They were orphaned throughout their youth. They are now sharing an apartment with their aunt Dhanalakshmi. He is in love with a woman called Kavin (Kashmira Pardeshi.) Rajashekar (Siddarth) is a tough traffic cop. Between them, sparks flare from the start of the film, when Rajasekar apprehends Madhan on the road for speeding and humiliates him in public by dressing him in a females attire. When Raji and Rajashekar create a matrimonial partnership, tensions rise. Madhan is unable to overcome his humiliation and starts to see Rajasekar and Raji as his deadliest enemies when Raji marries Rajasekar against his will and gets pregnant for two months. Madhan's motorcycle is stolen. As the bike is being utilized for chain stealing, the cops arrest him and beat him severely. Rajashekar rescues him and offers to house him, setting off a melodrama between Madhan and Raji.
Sasi's upcoming film, 'Sivappu Manjal Pachai,' has been censored and given a clean U certificate by the CBFC. Ramesh P Pillai of Abhishek Films is seeking a suitable release date in the coming weeks, since there are high expectations for the film, which is the director's follow-up to the critical and commercial smash 'Pichaikaaran'. Siddharth and G.V. Prakash star as the film's two protagonists, while Kashmira Pardeshi and Lijomol Jose play the film's two main women. Premkumar, Dheepa Ramanujam, and Yeshwanth are co-stars. Siddhu Kumar composed the music, Prasanna S Kumar shot the film, and San Lokesh edited it.
