When Tadashi, the butler's son, introduced young Ainosuke to skateboarding, he fell in love, but as an adult, he exploited the sport to change "S" into something more selfish. He wanted to be the greatest and to remain the best, even if it meant physically harming anybody who stood in his way. And when Langa stepped up to give him a run for his money, Adam continued his chase unabated until Langa yanked him out of the "zone" and reintroduced him to the joys of skating. While his future is uncertain, he inspires the other key characters to continue skating competitively and picks up a few lessons along the way. 9 Kyan Reki
Reki Kyan, a high school student, is obsessed with one thing: skateboarding. When night strikes, he makes his way to "S," an illegal underground race held within a mine in which skaters compete in very risky scenarios. Following a defeat that ends in the destruction of his skateboard and the breaking of his arm, Reki is now incapable of practicing at all. While at work, Reki meets his new student, Langa Hasegawa, a half-Canadian, half-Japanese lad with almost no skating experience. Langa is in severe need of financial assistance. After they are both assigned by Reki's employer to see "S," they find themselves into difficulty and are compelled to participate in a wager that demands Langa to skate in a race. However, Reki is unaware that the mystery transfer student has a trump card that might help him win the race in the most unexpected manner. [Assembled by MAL Rewrite]
Nonetheless, Reki's quantity was the issue. That is, after all, how he considered it. He says he does it more than the average individual, for whatever reason. Particularly now that he was once again floating lazily in those turquoise eyes that were looking directly at him. Brightly shining with an uneasy grin tugging at the corner of his mouth. Was it the proper hue? What about sky blue or cyanâ whatever color best describes what draws him into Langa's gaze? He's really gorgeous, and he's-âStaring directly at him. Are you making a statement? What exactly did he say?â Reki was yanked from his thoughts by reality.
My Greatest Failure: Considers teaching Adam to skate to be the catalyst for his present path and regrets it terribly, considering how it has distorted his master and jeopardized his profession. Additionally, there are hints that he regrets not standing up to Adam's father when he burnt Adam's skateboard as an adolescent. In Sk 8 Chill Off!, he discreetly apologizes to Miya before their battle since he reminds him of Adam when they were younger, but this simply confuses and freaks out Miya. My Master, Correct or Incorrect: Tadashi dislikes Adam's conduct in S and in his personal life, but he defers to him, even declaring that he has no opinion on the subject (or, more practically, that his view is irrelevant). Indeed, he is so loyal to Adam that he is prepared to take the fall for him even at the risk of jeopardizing his own career. He does, however, seek to rebel against Adam when it comes to skateboarding, claiming that he is to blame for Adam's involvement in the sport in the first place.
